These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of danceonmusic.com and the dance stage tool (together, the "Service"), operated by DanceOnMusic ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
The Service is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. The Service
DanceOnMusic provides a free, browser-based tool that generates an animated choreography sequence synced to a rhythm detected in music you supply, at a difficulty level you select. The Service is provided for entertainment and general practice purposes only.
3. Your content and the music you use
You are solely responsible for any audio file ("Media") you upload to the Service, and for ensuring you have the right to use it in this way. Uploaded Media is analyzed locally in your browser to detect its rhythm and is not transmitted to, or stored on, our servers. We do not download, extract, copy, or redistribute your Media.
You agree not to use the Service to process Media that you do not have the legal right to use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or interfere with the Service's operation or security.
- Use automated means to access the Service in a manner that sends more request messages than a human could reasonably produce.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others.
- Upload or link to Media containing unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, animations, graphics, and written content, is owned by DanceOnMusic or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent, except as permitted by applicable law (such as fair use).
6. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to third-party websites that are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the generated choreography will be technically or stylistically accurate for any specific dance discipline. 8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DanceOnMusic and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service, including any injury sustained while attempting to replicate dance movements.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DanceOnMusic from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, without prior notice.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DanceOnMusic operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.
